Event Rules:

Racers are allowed to enter 2 classes maximum.

Races entered in the Outlaw class are only allowed to run Super Sport as their 2nd class. Outlaw racers are not allowed to run any of the RTR Classes. 

Racers in Super Sport are allowed to run any of the RTR Classes as their 2nd class. 

Racers are allowed to run 2 RTR Classes. 

 

GENERAL RULES:

GENERAL RULES:

The saying of First is Worst will be used when it comes to infractions during the evnet. First to cross centerline will lose, First to hit a wall will lose. 

Hitting of the side walls during a run is NOT allowed and will be grounds for disqualification 

Hitting of any part of the timing system or reflectors will earn disqualification.

Crossing of centerline will earn disqualification

Tire warmers can be reinstalled after tech inspection but will need to be removed immediately upon arrival in staging area. 

No going backwards on the track.

8.44 volts is maximum voltage. Batteries teched at 8.47 or higher will not be allowed to run and driver will be disqualified for that round. If battery is between 8.44 and 8.46 you will be allowed to burn off the excess and retech 1 time before you run. If battery is still over when you retech, you will be disqualified from that round.

Voltage will be checked at battery and ESC.

No holding of spots in line for practice. 

On Thursday Ladies entered in the Queen of the Streets event will get head of the line privilage for practice. 

You may bring your own burnout mat to the starting area. 

A burnout is optional but if done,  be done behind the sponsor mats.  

RTR CLASSES: No tire additive is allowed in any of the RTR Classes.  Tires are only allowed to be cleaned with water or Green colored Simple Green. Any other solution used will be grounds for event disqualification. 

 

 

 OUTLAW:

1. Chassis: Short course-based chassis (2wd), 12-13.5 inch wheelbase (4wd not allowed, 4wd to 2wd conversion not  allowed)

 2. Motor: Any commonly over the counter RC car motor. No 1/8th Scale motors. 

 3. Battery: 2 cells (8.44v max, single pack)

 4. Tires: Rubber with foam insert style rear and front tires. (No O-rings)

 5. Shocks: Must have four shocks each controlling a wheel as intended by typical manufacturers.  “No Tie Rods”. 

 6. Transmission: Car must use a 3-5 gear transmission (gear box) Belts or link conversions not allowed.

 7. Wheelie bar: May extend a maximum of 13” from the rear drive (CVA/Dog bone)

 8. Wheelie bar wheels no larger than: 30mm diameter 13.50mm width

 9. Body: Body must cover wheels (i.e. no buggies) Wheel wells must be cut exposing 1/2 the wheel minimum. 

 10. Wings and Things: Rear wings, spoilers, and side dams may extend off the body’s rear deck a max of 3 inches and cannot extend taller than parallel to the roofline. Rear spoilers supplied with a body are considered legal for that body in their intended design. Nose splitters may extend a max of 1/2” from the edge of the body.

 11. Prep: Tire prep is allowed.

 12. Burn outs: Burn outs are optional but if done must be in the designated area.  No burn outs at the starting line! Burnouts at the start line will earn disqualification from that round. 

13. Weight minimum: 2060 grams 

** No "Assist" receivers or gyros, or any driving assist items allowed. No AVC Receivers. No TSM receivers.

 

SUPER SPORT: **** AT THIS TIME NOT SCHEDULED TO RACE THE STRAIGHTLINE SHOWDOWN 2022 ****

1. Chassis: Short course-based chassis (2wd), 12-13.5 inch wheelbase (4wd not allowed, 4wd to 2wd conversion not allowed)

 2. Motor: Any commonly over the counter RC car motor

 3. Battery: 2 cells (8.44v max, single pack)

 4. Tires: Rubber, foam insert style rear and front tires. (No O-rings)

 5. Shocks: Must have four shocks each controlling a wheel as intended by typical manufacturers.  “No Tie Rods”. 

 6. Transmission: Car must use a 3-5 gear transmission (gear box) Belts or link conversions not allowed.

 7. Wheelie bar: NOT ALLOWED

 8. Body: No Pro Mod bodies allowed in this class. All bodies must have rear bumper in tact.

     Body must cover wheels (i.e. no buggies) Body must have the wheel arches fully cut out per the manufacturer’s suggestions.

 9. Wings and things: Rear wings/spoilers may extend off the body’s rear deck a max of 3 inches. May not be taller than the roof. **Nose splitters may extend a max of 1/2 inch **

 10. Prep: Tire prep is allowed but a burn out is required before staging your car.

 11. Burn outs: Burn outs are to be done in the designated area on the ground or supplied carpet. You are not allowed to bring your own carpet to the burnout area. No burn outs at the starting line! Burnouts at the start line will earn disqualification from that round. 

12. Weight minimum: 2060 grams 

** No "Assist" receivers or gyros, or any driving assist items allowed. No AVC Receivers. No TSM receivers.
